One Direction was founded on the X factor stage and includes Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomilnson, and Zayn Malik. The song “What Makes You Beautiful” was on the top of the charts in the UK and in several other markets including the US. Their album, “Up All Night” was released on March 21, 2012, making One Direction the first ever UK band to get at the top of the charts on their first album. On iTunes, their album sold out in 12 minutes. After the X Factor, judge Simon Cowell signed them on to his record company and their careers sky rocketed. They are now on top of the charts and they have every girl singing and thinking that they, themselves, are beautiful.
