Pete’s Drive-In is a local 1960’s style drive-in restaurant right down the street from RHS on Harvard. The restaurant itself looks like a time capsule, preserving a long-gone era of drive-in fast food. If people don’t want or can’t drive up, it also has tables in the front and back to seat anyone who isn’t in a car. As for food, they of course serve classic burgers and fries, probably what they are most well known for. That’s not all they’re known for, they also serve broasted chicken, hot dogs, sandwiches, seafood, and desserts. How good their food is, however, is a subjective matter. The restaurant typically gets 3-4/5 reviews online, with people especially praising their fries. Their customer service is top-notch, with most reviews praising their politeness and willingness to help the customer. I’m going to use my most recent experience at their restaurant for this review, ignoring past experiences or other people’s opinions to give the restaurant a fair and honest critique.

I just went to the restaurant yesterday, and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, a fries basket, and a chocolate shake. In terms of customer service, they were polite and professional. The food was very good, and the quality was stellar. The burger tasted good, even if it was a little dry for my tastes. The fries and shake however were even better. Their fry sauce tasted amazing. Their chocolate shake was a little too thick, but it still tasted great. All in all it’s a great local restaurant that I have frequented with friends many times and would recommend to anyone.
