Royal Split

A royal family split? From the things that are heard in gossip magazines and exaggerated pop culture, there is tons of misinformation leaning towards scrutiny of the upper class. However, for the case of Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, there is a chance at a better, more independent life.
Prince Harry, grandson to Queen Elizabeth II, has taken the initiative to step back from the royal family. Him and his wife, Meghan, wish to get away from the title and become self-reliant. In a meeting with Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family, it has been decided that the couple will split their time between the UK and Canada. The two announced, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”
As of now, Meghan is living with their son, Archie, in Canada. The problematic process has already begun for Harry to begin his new life. Unfortunately for the family, there have been rumors of tension between the royal family and the choices the couple made. From a few sources, including Fox News and The Daily Wire, it has been stated that Prince Charles is “livid” with the choices his son, Harry, has made. However, Harry’s father is also funding the two for their new Canadian home. There is no certainty of how the family is reacting, but it is certain that most of the family wishes the best for Harry and Meghan.
The queen does not want the process to be drawn out, and she wants the terms to be understood. She is not against the decision that her grandson and granddaughter-in-law have followed through with. For the whole family, they would have preferred that the couple stayed fully working in the royal family, but the queen states they “respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of [her] family.”
