Girls J.V. Basketball vs. South Medford

On January 24, the girls junior varsity basketball team played in a tough game against South Medford High School. The girls gave it their all, as usual, but ended with a near win of 24-39. The girls on the team had a very strong start, and they continued to use their determination and skill throughout the game.

“I think my team did very well in the game, but the best moment was when I went in for the Varsity team, and they made sure I didn’t get crowded,” said Freshman Amy Carpenter, who plays for both the varsity and junior varsity teams. The girls will go to their next away game on January 31 against Grantspass, and their next home game will be played on February 7 against North Medford with brave faces and a courageous attitude.
