The RHS fall sports athletes worked hard this season on and off the field.

Each season, the Oregon School Activities Association posts the grade point averages of all the high school athletes in the state of Oregon. In fall 2021, the Roseburg High School fall athletes accomplished an overall 3.545 GPA. The Roseburg High School fall sports have now ended, but the GPA scores earned by the RHS fall sports athletes were exceptional. All of the fall sports players worked very hard to achieve those scores and were determined to have a great season and still have good grades.

Russ Bolin, RHS Athletic Director, said ¨We all play a part in this, and we need to celebrate these kids and this accomplishment,¨ adding, “Great stuff!”

Roseburg High School believes that academics come first before sports. RHS is big on students being successful in school academically and extra-curricularly by being able to play sports and still have good grades.

Here are the team GPA averages in descending order:

Girls’ Cross Country – 3.93
Boys’ Cross Country – 3.64
Volleyball – 3.60
Boys’ Soccer – 3.53
Girls’ Soccer – 3.37
Football – 3.20
