This year December 16 to 20 (the week before winter break) is Spirit Week, more commonly known as Winter Week. The lunch activities for the week included “Hot Cocoa Toss,” “Unstuff the Stocking,” “Present in the Chimney,” “Candy Cane Tasting,” and “Candy Cane Fishing.” The dress-up days were themed “Pajama Day,” “Snow Day,” “Winter White Out,” “Holiday Character” and “Ugly Sweater.” By going to classroom M-102 (Mrs. Bartlett’s room) while dressed up, you get put into a raffle for the chance to win prizes.

   For the first time ever, Leadership is putting on a winter dance. This dance will be Winter Wonderland themed with semi-formal wear on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the RHS Student Center. Tickets will be available the first week coming back from winter break (January 6 to 10, 2025), sold for $10 before the dance and $15 at the door. RHS Leadership is trying to do something new with the theme of “ROLES REVERSED,” so unlike Hoco, the opposite person proposes the idea of the dance instead of the social norm! Of course, this is not a required thing but it is definitely a fun new idea!
